Athens Stock Exchange movers — 06/11/2026

22 stocks rose and 96 fell; the General Index slipped 2.22%.

The session in brief

updated 18:03

The Athens market ended Friday with heavy losses, with the General Index at 2553.35, down 2.22% (−58.06 points). Thursday's collapse in tech stocks had intensified worries about valuations and investment in artificial intelligence. The selling spread across banks, blue chips and mid caps, reflecting a generalised retreat in risk appetite. Breadth was weak: 22 stocks rose, 98 fell and 13 were unchanged, and the median move among larger companies was −1.09%. Utilities (−1.92%) and Consumer Defensive (−1.68%) had the weakest sector medians, while Real Estate (−0.31%) held up best. Daios Plastics (−4.9%), Metlen (−4.84%), Trek (−4.75%), Eurobank (−4.74%) and Sarantis (−4.69%) fell most. Frigoglass (+3.99%), Karelia Tobacco (+2.36%) and DOTSOFT (+1.83%) led the gainers. Strong bank results and updated full-year targets limited the pressure but did not reverse the decline. The market was also awaiting Fitch's review of Greece's credit rating on Friday evening.
